Chelsea fans were in stitches at what Thiago Silva did with pal Lucas Moura’s Tottenham shirt in new footage from Stamford Bridge.

The Blues were held to a draw by their London rivals in a drab 0-0 draw, allowing Jose Mourinho’s side to top the Premier League table.

It was a chance, though, for Silva to have a reunion with former PSG team-mate Moura.

The Brazilian pair arrived in the French capital together eight years ago, winning four Ligue 1 honours before the forward moved to Tottenham.

But new footage from their Premier League meeting has emerged of an awkward moment between the pals on the pitch.

In the clip, the full-time whistle has blown and the players are chatting about the match.

Silva has immediately gone over to Moura and the Brazilians have swapped shirts, soon joined by Spurs full-back and fellow ex-PSG man Serge Aurier.

The Ivorian is chatting to the Blues defender while his team-mate listens.

But the centre-back, holding Moura’s shirt in his right hand, suddenly brings it up to his face and wipes his runny nose with it.

While none of the Spurs players were too fussed, the Blues faithful were left in stitches at the moment on social media.

“Instant legend in my eyes,” one supporter said.

Another commented: “Hilarious - he’s settling in just fine.”

While a third took a dig at Chelsea’s London rivals, with: “Good single-use loo paper.”

But a fourth suggested it was a different intent, with: “The type of brotherly love that could make Thiago Silva wipe his nose with Lucas Moura’s shirt.”

Mourn detailed the close friendship he has with Silva before the pair met at Stamford Bridge.

The 28-year-old said before the game: “It’s too easy for me to speak about Thiago because we have a very good relationship.

“He is my friend, my brother and I am a big fan. For me, he’s one of the best defenders in the world.

“It will be strange and different to face him on Sunday. Unfortunately we have not met yet (in England) because of the virus. We’ve had a lot of games also and it’s been difficult to organise.

“But I speak to him almost every week. He is the kind of friend you keep forever, in the heart. He’s a big person for me.”
