Chelsea are back in Champions League tomorrow night when they make the trip to Sevilla.

The Blues have already secured a spot in the knockout stages of the competition, but the top spot in Group E is still up for grabs.

Frank Lampard has stated that he might look to rotate his team in order to keep the Blues players fresh going into a busy period of the campaign.

But what team should the Blues boss pick for the game at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium?

Our football.london writers have their say on the side which should be selected.

Oliver Harbord

With qualification having been secured, it's a massive chance for Lampard to rest some players. Top spot is important, but he has to keep his players fresh.

Timo Werner is one who should come out of the starting XI, with Callum Hudson-Odoi coming back into the team and Christian Pulisic getting a start after his latest injury.

With his goal at Rennes, Olivier Giroud also deserves to be in the first team and to get the chance to grab another big goal for the Blues.

In the middle of the park, Jorginho should came back into the side, but I would keep the 4-3-3 formation, with Mason Mount on one side and Kai Havertz on the other.

At the back there could be the most changes, to keep the important duo of Thiago Silva and Kurt Zouma fresh, along with the two full-backs.

I would bring in Emerson, Cesar Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger all into the starting team to rotate the squad.

Harbord's team: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger, Emerson; Havertz, Jorginho, Mount; Hudson-Odoi, Giroud, Pulisic.

James Piercy

It’s a perfect scenario for Lampard in terms of the breadth and depth of resources he has and the fact that qualification is secured.

To start with the obvious, resting Thiago Silva is a must. It’s a game the veteran doesn’t need to play in so keep him fresh and ready for Leeds United this weekend, and you could also make the case for Zouma, given his profile now as first-choice alongside the Brazilian.

However, there is method to keeping him in the team and pairing with Rudiger, to give the latter minutes and develop understanding between them as Silva cannot be expected to play all remaining major fixtures, so this duo is likely to be called upon at some stage.

Azpilicueta for Reece James helps fill any leadership void, gives him game time and the England international some recovery time and, given Chilwell’s small injury issues since the start of the season, maybe 90 minutes from Marcos Alonso is an idea.

In front of them, Kai Havertz has to start having not played significant minutes since October 31, and it’d be great to see Christian Pulisic back in the XI, with Callum Hudson-Odoi continuing his Champions League role on the right.

The only major dilemmas seem to be in attack – Tammy Abraham or Olivier Giroud – and you basically pick the person who won’t start against Leeds, and at the base of midfield as one or both of N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic have to come out with the weekend in mind.

Piercy's team: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Rudiger, Alonso; Jorginho, Kante; Hudson-Odoi, Havertz, Pulisic; Giroud
