Chelsea missed out on the chance to go top of the Premier League as they were held to a 0-0 draw by London rivals Tottenham on Sunday.

Here’s how Frank Lampard’s men rated at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea player ratings

Edouard Mendy 6

Good early save to push away Aurier’s long-ranger. Didn’t have to do much else.

Reece James 6

Wonderful cross to Abraham after half time – but didn't get forward enough to really hurt Spurs.

Thiago Silva 6

Up against Kane for the first time in his career and probably didn't see too much of him, given Spurs’ lack of ambition.

Kurt Zouma 6

Tried the diagonal ball to the left wing often, but it rarely came off. Good positioning defensively.

Ben Chilwell 6

Didn't get forward as often as we’ve come to expect – but absolutely solid from a defensive point of view.

Mateo Kovacic 6

Used the ball well and tried to give Chelsea the impetus where he could. Disciplined performance justified his selection ahead of Jorginho.

N’Golo Kante 7

Had to be alive to Spurs’ quick counters. In the right place at the right time to cut out one dangerous burst in the first half.

Mason Mount 7

Typically energetic performance as he covered so much ground and forced a good save from Lloris late on.

Hakim Ziyech 6

Early shot from range looked like a statement of intent – but it was a frustrating day for him. Chelsea looked better when he tucked in after the break, but he sent a good chance high over the bar.

Tammy Abraham 5

A tough day up against such well-drilled defence. Had the awareness to drop deep and drift wide to try to create space for runners from deep – but didn't do well enough when provided with three good second half chances.

Timo Werner 6

Brilliant finish looked to have put Chelsea ahead, but was ruled out for offside. Delivered an inviting cross that Abraham should have converted – but little space to work in.
