Chelsea fans have brilliant Erling Haaland transfer theory as video resurfaces of Lampard claim

Erling Haaland is one of the most in-demand strikers in world football.

The talented Norwegian striker joined Borussia Dortmund for £17million from Red Bull Salzburg and he has scored an impressive 33 goals in 32 games for BVB since.

He has now been valued by the CIES Football Observatory at between £135m and £180m and is expected to make a big-money move in the near future.

One of the clubs suggested as a future destination is Chelsea, and fans on the club’s Reddit page are poring over an old video of the striker that indicates he could one day be a Blue.

In it, ESPN ask the striker a series of quickfire questions including which now retired player he would like to have lined up alongside.

Haaland thought for a couple of seconds, before responding: "Frank Lampard."

Chelsea Supporters Trust slam club as Leeds United ticket details emerge

The Chelsea Supporters Trust has expressed its disappointment at the club’s plans to charge up to £75 for tickets for the game against Leeds United.

Fans are set to be allowed back into Stamford Bridge for the first time since March, and the Trust deemed Chelsea’s pricing strategy as a ‘clear exploitation of supporter loyalty’.

The government’s national lockdown will end December 2, and will be replaced by a tiered system that places London in tier two restrictions.

That means Chelsea will be allowed up to 2,000 supporters inside the ground.

"Throughout all discussions we have had with the club, the consensus was that tickets would be sold on 50% loyalty points and 50% on a first-come, first-served basis with, potentially, a one price ticket for any part of the stadium.

"The club, in their wisdom, have decided to charge an eye-watering £75 for the majority of sold tickets. The CST is also appalled to learn that this price is the highest that any PL club is charging for tickets."

The Reds suffered a shock 1-1 draw at Brighton and Hove Albion after they conceded a late penalty to the Seagulls.

Andrew Robertson was adjudged to have fouled Danny Welbeck in the penalty area, and Pascal Grob calmly slotted it home.

It got worse for the Reds after veteran utility man James Milner was forced off in the 74th minute with a hamstring complaint and was replaced by youngster Curtis Jones.

The prognosis on the severity of his injury remains unclear, and it could see Milner miss a number of weeks as Jurgen Klopp continues to wrestle with an injury crisis.

The news will be a boost to their title rivals, including Chelsea, as they prepare to face Tottenham Hotspur.
