Tuchel urged to bring brilliant Premier League duo to Chelsea this January

Paul Merson has urged Chelsea to sign Brighton duo Marc Cucurella and Yves Bissouma this transfer window.

So far we are in the second day of the transfer window and there has just been alot of speculation about the players that we could look to acquire over the next four weeks, but no movement.

It is no secret that Thomas Tuchel will need to add to his squad this month in order to get back into that Premier League title hunt, as they are are struggling to keep up with Manchester City, according to Merson

‘Chelsea were flying but it’s different now, they’re struggling,’ Merson told Sky Sports.

‘I went the other night [against Brighton], you watch Man City play and it’s ping, ping, ping. You watch Chelsea and it’s hard.

‘They got well beat the other night. They drew but Brighton were outstanding.

‘If I was Chelsea I would go and get Cucurella, I would definitely go and get him and I would get Bissouma. I know people will say they play for Brighton, they were the best two players on the pitch in my opinion.

‘Chelsea are stuck in treacle at the moment.’

IcCheleanews view…

We have one of the very best squads in the Premier League and are still picking up points, although it is not the way that many fans would like to see. But yes, freshening up the squad over the next few weeks would give his side the fresh boost that the club need.

Cucurella and Yves Bissouma would be very good dquad members, but could find it very difficult to get a regular game at the Bridge, so they would need to seriously consider their options if we do actually come calling

But it would also be a massive opportunity for the pair IF THEY CAME CALLING
