Chelsea FC XI vs Malmo: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for Champions League game

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has resisted the temptation to rest star striker Romelu Lukaku for tonight’s Champions League clash with Malmo.

The Belgian striker has struggled for form of late and Tuchel has admitted that he is mentally and physically tired.

The European champions’ only other injury concern is Christian Pulisic, who is yet to recover from an ankle injury.

Hakim Ziyech is available again after headaches forced him to miss Saturday’s 1-0 win against Brentford but starts on the bench.

However, there are two returning figures in the backline, with Antonio Rudiger fit following a back problem picked up on international duty with Germany, while Thiago Silva comes back in after missing Brentford because of his late return from Brazil.

Mason Mount starts his first game for Chelsea since September 19, while Jorginho is back in the XI having been on the bench for the games against Southampton and Brentford.

Chelsea starting XI: Mendy, Rudiger, Christensen, Silva, Chilwell, Jorginho, Kante, Azpilicueta, Mount, Lukaku, Werner
