Chelsea are keen on negotiating new contracts for four players, according to Goal.com.

The Blues have made a positive start to the current campaign, and they are currently top of the Premier League standings.

While things are going smoothly on the pitch, the club are also keen on sorting out the futures of key players with long-term deals.

Andreas Christensen is in advanced negotiations with the hierarchy. He is widely expected to sign a new deal beyond next summer.

However, the same is not the case with Antonio Rudiger. He has declined an extension amid differences in the weekly wages.

The German could leave on a free transfer when his contract expires in June.

Meanwhile, Trevoh Chalobah and Mason Mount are contracted until 2023 and 2024 respectively, but new deals could be on the horizon.

The Blues have yet to open talks with either player, but negotiations are expected to be held over the course of the current campaign.
