Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has sung the praises of Andreas Christensen.

The Denmark defender is in line to sign an improved contract.

"Andreas has been really strong since day one. He can play all three positions in defence and he plays with great confidence," says Tuchel.

"At first I had the feeling that he had a bit of a hard time believing in himself and putting himself through and trusting in his own quality, but he has everything we need in these positions.

"We completely trust him and he is doing really, really well so far and it is everyone's goal that he continues like this."
