Edouard Mendy

Couldn't do anything with the wicked deflection off Rudiger's foot as Moura reduced the arrears but will be disappointed to allow Bergwijn's shot to go through his legs for the equaliser. 7

Christian Pulisic

Once again played as a wing-back having replaced Hudson-Odoi at half time but not for long as Zappacosta was introduced. Plenty of energy but little impact. 6

Kurt Zouma

A good performance across 65 minutes for the Frenchman in only his second game back. Despite transfer rumours, his head doesn't appear to be elsewhere. 7

Trevoh Chalobah

Tremendous goal-saving tackle on Son very early in the second half and continued his form from the first half to after the break. Another very good outing and something for Thomas Tuchel to think about. 8

Antonio Rudiger

His foot completely flummoxed Mendy as Moura's shot was deflected and looped in to make it 2-1. Often kamikaze, he unleashed one of his hopeful long-range shots in the second half but some good minutes under his belt. 7

Marcos Alonso

Did really well to hook the ball into the path of Ziyech to double Chelsea's lead. A good shift on the left. 7

Tiemoue Bakayoko

His first pre-season run out and gave the ball away cheaply on a few occasions. Suffered from the raft of changes midway through the second half and looked a bit lost. 6

Mateo Kovacic

He was his usual self, snapping into tackles and plenty of energy, doing the job he is paid to do very well. 7

Hakim Ziyech

Fine strike across Gollini into the far corner to score his second of the game and his fifth of pre-season. Fabulous outing to end what has been a very strong pre-season for the Moroccan. 8

Timo Werner

Snatched at a very presentable chance to make it 3-0, dragging wide. Left his shooting boots at home once again and no doubt Tuchel will be asked about it again post-match. 7

Kai Havertz

Not really much to speak about in all honesty. Very elegant with the ball at his feet but seemed more interested in helping Werner to score rather than take a chance himself. 7

Substitutions

Ethan Ampadu (for Zouma 65')

Slotted in the middle of the back three when all the changes were made. Vital interception off the line at 2-2. 7

Malang Sarr (for Rudiger 65')

Hopeless pass straight to Bergwijn allowed Spurs to equalise. Very nervy and jumpy, doesn't instil confidence just yet. 6

Tammy Abraham (for Havertz 65')

Forced one good save from Gollini though it was at his near post. 6

Tino Anjorin (Ziyech, 65')

Back in the team after recovering from Covid-19. One superb bit of skill completely did for Harry Winks. Bright, energetic and keen to prove a point. 7

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (for Kovacic, 65')

Played too deep in the double six pivot that Tuchel likes and it simply doesn't suit him. 6

Davide Zappacosta (for Chalobah 65')

Barely did any defending and a couple of good crosses into the box. 6

Kenedy (for Alonso, 65')

His pre-season bow and played at left wing-back. Gave away some cheap fouls. 6

Matt Miazga (for Chalobah, 80')

Had a run-out at the end and did what he needed to. No rating.
