Chelsea paraded the Champions League trophy around Stamford Bridge before their friendly against Tottenham on Wednesday night.

In normal circumstances, the Blues would’ve shown off the coveted prize to thousands of fans on an open-top bus down London’s Kings Road immediately after their triumph over Man City in June.

COVID-19 restrictions meant that wasn’t possible, but welcoming a full-house to Stamford Bridge for the first time in 17 months, the pre-season clash with Spurs presented a perfect opportunity.

Not only did Cesar Azpilicueta lift the famous trophy in front of more than 40,000 adoring fans, the parade also took place with Chelsea's arch rivals in the building.

Tottenham, of course, won't need reminding of their neighbours' success during their 13-year trophy drought.

The Blues faithful were also quick to remind Spurs of Harry Kane's absence before kick-off.

Tottenham's wantaway striker has not reported for training as expected in a bid to force through a transfer to Man City.

With the 28-year-old still on holiday in Florida, the Chelsea fans could be heard chanting in unison: 'Where the f*** is Harry Kane?'
