Chelsea loanee Billy Gilmour admitted his delight at playing in front of fans at Carrow Road for Norwich City.

The Canaries finally got some preseason action as they took on Gillingham in front of roughly 10,000 supporters.

The newly promoted Premier League club dispatched Gillingham 5-0 in the friendly, preparing for the upcoming season in the best possible style.

"It was an amazing feeling," Gilmour said, per the club website.

"Fans are back and honestly it was so loud. When we were scoring and the fans were celebrating, there is no better feeling.

"It makes me really excited for the Liverpool game in a couple of weeks. It is a big fixture to start the season and hopefully we can continue our positivity into that."
