After confirming their brand new away kit just a matter of days ago, images of what is rumoured to be Chelsea’s third shirt have surfaced on social media, and it’s fair to say that fans largely appear pleased with the outcome.

Chelsea’s second strip has ultimately split opinion amongst fans as its bright yellow colour appeals to some, but certainly not to others.

Yet after their third kit – or at least rumoured third kit for that matter – was 'leaked' on social media, Chelsea fans are seemingly loving it, especially considering how split the opinions have been on the home and away strips.

If the new shirt is as it appears, it sports a dark shade of green, with an interesting colour pattern, which is added to by a bright orange Nike tick, crest and sponsor ‘3’ emblem.

The kit is rumoured to already be on sale in some countries ahead of the club’s official announcement, but some fans are still sceptical that it might not be the right strip, and thus are hoping for it to be confirmed as soon as possible.

Just take a look at what’s been said on Twitter.

The Blues signed a 15-year deal with Nike back in 2016, reported to be worth £60million per year to the club, though no cash value was ever announced.

Their kits have been hit and miss so far, with the latest looking like being a potential success, although Chelsea fans will certainly appreciate a better consistency, as well as a little bit more simplicity, moving forward.
