'Anything Can Happen' - Chelsea's Chance Of Signing Haaland

Hello and welcome along to football.london's Chelsea transfer news live blog.

In 29 days time deadline day will be upon us and Blues supporters will hope to have bolstered Thomas Tuchel's first-team squad with at least one or two more arrivals.

So far, goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli is the sole new signing on a free transfer following his release from Fulham and he is expected to provide competition for Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga next season.

Further forward, Chelsea continue to be linked with moves for Erling Haaland, Declan Rice and Jules Kounde, but whether a triple transfer swoop will happen remains to be seen.

It's shaping up to be very busy behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge between now and deadline day, so we will be keeping you right up to date with all the very latest on any Chelsea-related topics that you can think of.

Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko could be set to return to Italy with Juventus.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, via teamtalk, Juventus are keen on the current Chelsea man, which means their number one target, Manuel Locatelli, could be freed for a move to Arsenal.

Giroud talks Chelsea exit

Despite having penned a new contract this summer, Olivier Giroud eventually departed Chelsea for AC Milan.

The Frenchman has been speaking about his reasons for leaving west London in a press conference.

He said: “The time had come to leave Chelsea and discover a new league. God wanted me to play for Milan. This is one of the biggest clubs in the world and I really believe in the project here. We’ve got what it takes to have a very good Champions League campaign.”

Chelsea offer Kenedy to Sevilla

Chelsea appear to be changing tact in their pursuit of Jules Kounde after Kurt Zouma refused to be a part of any potential swap deal.

Goal Brazil suggest that the Blues have now offered Brazilian winger Kenedy to the Spanish outfit in part-exchange.

As of yet, Chelsea have apparently received no response.

AC Milan plot Ziyech offer

We brought you the news earlier that Chelsea were giving serious consideration to signing Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech this summer.

Now, CalcioMercato have brought more details by suggesting that the Serie A giants are interested in a loan deal with an option to buy. Meanwhile, the deal could include a £21.3m buy-back clause for Chelsea.

Livramento says goodbye

Tino Livramento is edging towards a Chelsea exit and he has seemingly already said goodbye to his Blues teammates with an emotional Instagram post.

He wrote: "After ten amazing years of playing for the only club that I’ve supported since a child, I’m taking the next big step in my career.

Soglo talking to Bayern Munich

Former Chelsea youngster Emran Soglo is in discussions with Bayern Munich over a move to Bavaria according to the player's agent.

Speaking to Foot Mercato, Willy Moupoupa and Jack Blouet said: "Yes, we are in talks with Bayern.

"There is nothing official to announce. We also talk to other clubs from Europe. We are looking for the best option at the highest level for Emran's career."

Harry Kane misses training

AC Milan after Ziyech, Rodriguez

AC Milan are reportedly keeping a close eye on developments at Chelsea in their pursuit of Hakim Ziyech.

The Italian giants are on the hunt for a replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu and have the Moroccan on their shortlist.

They are also considering Everton's James Rodriguez according to Milan News.

West Ham eye Zouma alternative

On the topic of Zouma, he has also been linked with a move to Premier League rivals West Ham United.

However, the Hammers have seemingly got their eye on Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic as an alternative should they fail to seal a deal according to Sky Sports.

Tuchel gives Zouma clarification

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has made a statement over the future of French defender Kurt Zouma after the centre-back was linked with a move Sevilla.

The German said: "Kurt was part of the team for half a year, I know him exactly, what I can demand from him, what he can give to the team.."

Chelsea lodge Lukaku bids

As per The Athletic, Chelsea have already made TWO bids for Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Blues are aiming to bring in a striker this summer and despite their knock-backs are not admitting defeat in pursuit of the Belgian throughout the current window.

Livramento set for Southampton

Following the exits of Lewis Bate and Marc Guehi this summer, Chelsea are now set to lose another academy starlet in the form of Tino Livramento.

According to the Daily Mail, the young defender is primed for a switch to St Mary's in a deal believed to be in the region of £5m.

Kounde alternative

Chelsea fans think Dujon Sterling could save the Blues £68 million in transfer fees this summer.

The Blues have been linked with a move for Jules Kounde who can operate at right-wing back as well as his preferred position as a central defender.

Just like Sterling.

According to The Chronicle, Steve Bruce’s side are eyeing up a possible loan swoop for the 28-year-old this month.

The report claims that Barkley could be an alternative to Joe Willock.

Haaland 'hint'

Some Chelsea fans are refusing to give up hope that Erling Haaland will be part of Tuchel's squad come deadline day at the end of the month.

And their confidence appears to have been boosted following a post from the club's Twitter account after recording a 2-1 win over Arsenal in a pre-season friendly on Sunday afternoon.

As seen in the image below, eagle-eyed Chelsea fans on Reddit have spotted that whoever controls the club's social media account posted 'Sunday Funday' when referring to the win at the Emirates Stadium.
