Some Chelsea fans think they have spotted a clue with regards to a summer transfer for Erling Haaland.
Despite the Blues being heavily linked with a move for the Borussia Dortmund striker, their sole signing this summer has been that of goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli who has joined on a free transfer after leaving London rivals Fulham.
In addition, Chelsea have been tipped to sign Jules Kounde and Declan Rice as Thomas Tuchel looks to build a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League trophy next season.
Although, signing Haaland would send a massive statement to the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United.
After netting 41 goals in just 41 appearances across all competitions last season - including 10 in the Champions League - the Norway international would thrive at Stamford Bridge with service from Mason Mount, Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz just to name a few.
However, Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke has seemingly delivered a blow to the west London outfit.
"It is pretty clear to me that Erling Haaland will stay at Dortmund, just as Julian Brandt will remain," he said. "I tend to say that every day but no one really seems to listen as I hear something new every week."
With that said, some Chelsea fans are refusing to give up hope that Haaland will be part of Tuchel's squad come deadline day at the end of the month.
And their confidence appears to have been boosted following a post from the club's Twitter account after recording a 2-1 win over Arsenal in a pre-season friendly on Sunday afternoon.
As seen in the image above, eagle-eyed Chelsea fans on Reddit have spotted that whoever controls the club's social media account posted 'Sunday Funday' when referring to the win at the Emirates Stadium.
Interestingly, that was the exact two-word message Haaland used in a recent Instagram post.
