Chelsea may need to look at a Plan B for their right hand side, if this really is something that the club and Thomas Tuchel want to strengthen this summer.
This is because both Gianluca Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano are reporting that it is now PSG who are closing in on a deal to sign Achraf Hakimi, after last week Chelsea were seemingly the ones closing in.
Chelsea are also interested in signing Jack Grealish this summer, you can read the full story here.

Achraf Hakimi deal. PSG now set to improve their official bid to Inter – as expected – around €70m [add ons included] to complete the agreement, confirmed! 🔴🔵 #PSG
Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement on personal terms with Hakimi on a five-years contract. ⌛️

Well, it is silly season, this is the exact kind of thing that will happen in all of these deals. Just look at how close Jadon Sancho has been to Manchester United in the last two years, yet he is still not a United player yet!
Chelsea have been reportedly interested in Adama Traore as a backup option to Hakimi (per The Telegraph), but it remains to be seen whether they will pursue that.
Another option is to promote the high rated Tino Livramento into the senior squad and give him a shot at the role this season, he is very highly rated amongst Chelsea youth watchers.
