Chelsea, Tottenham and Crystal Palace will all reportedly be allowed to welcome fans back for their final home games of the Premier League season with matches being pushed back to accommodate up to 10,000 fans.

According to the Press Association, the 37th round of Premier League fixtures will be moved back from the weekend of May 15th to midweek over May 18th and 19th, the day after the third step of the government's coronavirus roadmap is scheduled to take place.

From May 17th, clubs will be allowed to open their doors to fans once more with lockdown restrictions easing, meaning they will be allowed to welcome back 25% of their capacity or 10,000 supporters - whichever is the least amount.

Tottenham and Chelsea will therefore be able to welcome 10,000 supporters each for their fixtures against Aston Villa and Leicester City respectively, while Crystal Palace can accommodate around 6,370 fans for the visit of Arsenal to Selhurst Park.

The Gunners will already be able to welcome back fans for their end of season clash against Brighton on May 23, as will West Ham for the visit of Southampton and Fulham for what could be an all-important relegation decider against Newcastle.

According to the report, the Premier League has already informed clubs about the decision to move matches, but the announcement will not be released until broadcast arrangements have been made for the final round of matches.

Fans have already been welcomed back once this season for a select number of matches in December, before the UK entered another round of lockdown.

Though many teams were unable to host matches due to specific localised lockdown measures such as in the North West of England, a few games in London did take place, with up to 2,000 fans returning as Crystal Palace hosted Spurs and Arsenal hosted Rapid Vienna, among others.
