It's that time of year again.

There might be plenty still to be decided in the Premier League this season, but there are already glimpses into what next season could look like, or at least in terms of shirts.

Yes, that's right, it's leaked shirt season and we already have a potential glance at what Chelsea's next shirt, their fifth with US giants Nike, will look like.

Chelsea are locked into a 15-year deal with Nike which reportedly earns them around £60million each year, though kit deals are often renegotiated every few years so that deals reflect sales and other revenues.

Manufacturers tend to draw up designs for new kits well in advance, and it seems there is already a prototype for the new Chelsea shirt, which has been leaked.

Of course, we never really know if the leaked kits are real until the club release the new kit, usually towards the end of the season, but FootyHeadlines, who have released the shirt and generally keep an eye on this sort of thing, have given it an accuracy prediction of 90%.

The design is a two-tone blue with a zig-zag design throughout the shirt with a fluorescent yellow/green trim under the arm.

And in a surprising move, the Chelsea badge, as well as the Nike logo, are also the yellow/green colour, but the Three sponsor, which will be the shirt sponsor for the second successive season, is white.

Take a look at the supposed 'leaked' design below.

Chelsea debuted their last kit before the end of the season, wearing the current kit towards the end of last season in a bid to promote the latest shirt.

That has become typical practice for clubs and indeed for Chelsea, who notably debuted a new kit in the Champions League final in 2008 ahead of the following season, something they avoided doing four years later when they won the competition.
