Chelsea’s summer spending spree of over £200m has meant that this month’s priorities are focussed on letting players leave the club as opposed to signing them.

It seems almost guaranteed that the Blues will not make any signings during the January transfer window.

Instead, a number of players on the club’s fringes are set to depart, with some already jumping ship.

The likes of Charlie Brown, Lucas Piazon and Juan Castillo have all left this month, with others set to soon follow.

Here are the latest transfer rumours concerning the Blues, with players being linked both in and out of Stamford Bridge.

It is believed that the Blues will pay a significant chunk of Drinkwater’s wages to allow him to vacate Stamford Bridge.

Tomori to leave only on loan

Fikayo Tomori is another player who has been heavily linked with a departure out on loan.

Tomori has been linked with a move to Italian giants AC Milan. However, Chelsea insist that he will only leave on loan this month and not in a permanent deal.

As reported by the Evening Standard, Lampard has stated that there is a long term plan for Tomori at Stamford Bridge beyond this season.

Chelsea and Spurs eye defender

Spurs have been linked with South Korean centre-back Kim-Min Jae throughout this month. However, Chelsea are also being touted as potential suitors.
