Chelsea transfer news is coming thick and fast, with the Blues set for a busy January window despite their apparent lack of incoming transfers.

The Blues forked out £250million in the previous window to bring in the likes of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.

And it seems they will be relatively quiet when it comes to incomings this month, and will focus on trimming their squad.

Lucas Piazon, the club’s longest-serving player, left on a permanent move to Braga, and there will likely be more departures.

The Blues are set to offload players in order to balance the books after their summer spending spree.

Here’s today’s Chelsea transfer news round-up

Frank Lampard is set for a busy January transfer window

Rice tipped to make Man Utd decision

Chelsea transfer target Declan Rice has been tipped to snub any potential bids from Manchester United this summer.

Both teams have been linked with moves for the West Ham ace, though Chelsea were told to fork out £73m for him last summer.

And Rio Ferdinand thinks a move to Stamford Bridge is most likely for Rice if he is able to push through an exit.

He said: “Good luck to him. I think it’s inevitable he will go but I think – if I’m being realistic – he will go in the summer and I think it would be to Chelsea if he had his wish.”

Chelsea are still interested in Declan Rice

Lampard on Tomori

Frank Lampard has insisted young defender Fikayo Tomori’s long-term future is at Chelsea, despite links with a move away.

The centre-back has been heavily tipped to depart this winter after opting to stay put in the summer.

He has been linked with Newcastle and Leeds, but Lampard insists his future is at Chelsea, though he could move on loan.

“He absolutely has a long-term future at the club,” the boss said.

“We will see if and when he goes on loan.”

Fikayo Tomori could leave Chelsea on loan

AC Milan eye up loan

AC Milan could be one of the teams interested in taking Tomori in on loan.

The Italian giants have apparently moved on from Strasbourg star Mohamed Simikan, and are now looking at Tomori.

The Serie A leaders apparently want him to join on an 18-month loan deal to keep him at the San Siro until 2022.

They apparently also wanted him in the previous window, but were unable to convince Chelsea to part ways with him.

Tottenham to beat Chelsea to youngster

Chelsea are likely to sign youngsters for the future if they do make any signings this winter.

And South Korean centre-back Kim Min-jae is one of the players they’ve started to take a look at.

However, as we revealed, Tottenham are leading the way and could make a move this month.

He’s under contract until December of this year, and it seems he has no intention of extending his contract.

And Beijing Guoan are ready to offload him in order to prevent losing him for free.
