Chelsea target release clause revealed with player “expected to leave the club”

The transfer window is open, but perhaps for Chelsea any new potential arrivals will occur in the summer rather than this month due to the impressive window they had in the summer just gone.

They do appear to have a few plans for the next window though, and RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano could become one of them.

Which players could be leaving Chelsea this month? Find out here!

According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea are set to join the race to sign sought-after RB Leipzig defender, Dayot Upamecano in the summer.

But the 22-year old will have quite a few potential suitors, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

He also confirms that the Bundesliga defender has a 42 million euro release clause, and is “expected to leave the club” next summer.

A January move appears to be off the cards, but Upamecano will open talks with his agent regarding his next move.

It is another potential story bubbling up that Chelsea fans may need to keep an eye on.
