Good afternoon from Stamford Bridge where Chelsea have recorded a 4-0 victory ovetr Morecambe in the FA Cup third round.
It proved a good afternoon for the Blues with Mason Mount opening the scoring and then Timo Werner notching his first goal in 13 games.
Callum Hudson-Odoi, who impressed, struck the third and the victory was rounded off late on by Kai Havertz.
It's a win that will slightly ease the pressure on Blues boss Frank Lampard and we will have the post-match thoughts of the Chelsea manager below.
That's all from Lampard
And that's it from the Chelsea boss. We'll have a full transcript up very shortly
Lampard on forwards
We have a lot of young players in forward areas who have real potential. If you look around the Premier League, the players at the top of the scoring charts, are 27. 28, 29 years old. They produce every week.
Tomori future
Situation with Fikayo is open about the moment. There is a possibility he could be going on loan to get games somewhere else. So that would have to be the solution for him and the club. That was part of my thinking of not starting him today
Lampard on Gilmour
I think Billy is pushing and I think he's been pushing since Liverpool last season. I know Billy will be a very good player for this club
Honest from Adams
Everyone knows we were playing against a top class side with exceptionally good players.
Dereck Adams speaking first
The team Chelsea and Frank Lampard put out...I wasn't too happy. They showed a great deal of respect to the FA Cup, though, so fair play to them
Lampard undertaking TV duties
Frank Lampard is standing straight ahead of me on the Stamford Bridge touchline as he does the obligatory post-match TV and radio interviews.
There's a smile on the face of the Chelsea boss. He looks very relaxed.
Player ratings
There were several impressive performances from Chelsea players today, and here is how Blues reporter Adam Newson rated them
A good afternoon
That's exactly what Chelsea needed.
Yes, it was against League Two opposition but to get Timo Werner back on the scoresheet was vital, as was to win convincingly to boost confidence.
Very good performances from Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech, too.
