Hudson makes Werner claim
Former Chelsea midfielder Alan Hudson believes Timo Werner has "lost his way" following the striker's slow recent form.
Werner is without a goal in his last 11 outings for the Blues in all competitions after his strong start to life at Stamford Bridge.
The Germany striker scored eight goals in his opening 13 games for Frank Lampard's side, but Hudson has revealed his disappointment with him.
“He looks like he has lost his way,” he told CaughtOffside. “l have been very disappointed with Werner, after a great start, and he doesn’t look like he’s happy.”
Ziyech could be fit for City
Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech could be fit for the Blues' Premier League clash with Manchester City, according to Lampard.
Ziyech has been out since the 3-1 win over Leeds United at the start of December and his side have won just once out of six games in all competitions since then.
Lampard has insisted this is not a coincedence and provided a slight injury boost ahead of Sunday's game against City.
The Chelsea boss said: "Not a coincidence. Can't rely completely on him. He was very effective of us in terms of creation and goals.
"It helped, we were very fluid until he got injured. We want him back. There's a possibility he could be fit for City if it goes ahead. He's close."

Clattenburg's verdict on 'foul' in Blues draw
Former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg believes Stuart Attwell was right in a key moment of Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Aston Villa last night.
Blues supporters were unhappy that Jack Grealish's challenge on Andreas Christensen was not picked up on in the lead up to Villa's equaliser at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking on Amazon Prime, Clattenburg said: “Jack Grealish plays it off with his right foot and Christensen comes across and tries to block him.
“Grealish does catch him with his left foot, but Christensen also catches Grealish, I think both of them come together, therefore, play on.
“Villa score as well, but at the end of the day, playing on is probably the best result.”
