Chelsea fullback Ben Chilwell says there's positives to draw from their 1-1 result with Aston Villa.
Anwar El Ghazi cancelled out Olivier Giroud's opener for Chelsea.
Chilwell said, “[The manager] is more pleased than he was the other day. It's a draw at home. We want to be winning these games, but the effort and performance was a lot better today. The mentality is the main thing, and that was a lot better.
“They had one chance and they scored from it. We're disappointed not to have won, but it was a much better performance so soon after a disappointing one.
“At Chelsea you want the full-backs to be joining in. I do like to get forward. The priority is obviously defending, but when I do get forward I try and do what I can.
“At the moment we're not quite getting the rub of the green, but we'll keep working hard. We've got a very strong squad. We've got two or three players in every position who are up to the standard. It's what you want at a top club."
