Chelsea striker Abraham unimpressed by Saka's Arsenal wonder goal

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham was unimpressed by Buyako Saka's wonder goal for Arsenal in their win on Saturday.

The Gunners ran out comfortable winners against their London rivals at The Emirates, storming into a two-goal lead in the first half thanks to Alexandre Lacazette's penalty and a superb Granit Xhaka free-kick.

Saka then added their third 10 minutes after the interval, first picking up the ball on the edge of the box and entering Chelsea's penalty area untroubled, before producing a remarkable lob that clipped the inside of the post and hit the back of the net.

At the final whistle, Saka could be seen chatting with substitute Ainsley Maitland-Niles at full-time, seemingly explaining the method behind his goal on the night.

As they left the pitch, Abraham overheard the pair's conversation and looked over his shoulder to chip in with an initial comment that cannot be made out.

He then turned his head and appears to say: “You didn't mean it, shut up man."

Sky Sports reporter Geoff Shreeves later quizzed Saka on the controversial goal, asking the youngster if he truly meant it or not as he walked past to carry out his post-match media duties.

“Yeah, of course man," Saka said.

And after Shreeves joked that his answer didn't sound convincing, he then responded: “He [Edouard Mendy] was off his line!"
