Chelsea prepare for “multiple offers” for breakout Premier League striking star

Chelsea expect multiple permanent offers for Armando Broja this summer after the striker’s explosive start to life in the Premier League.

That’s the story from the Daily Express today, although you don’t need inside sources to know that’s what’s going to happen. Clubs have nothing to lose by making a bid, and in fact it can encourage the player to start putting the pressure on his current owners.

“European champions Chelsea are braced for multiple offers for their hotshot Armando Broja this summer – meaning the Blues will face pressure to decide the immediate future of their 20-year-old Albanian striker at the end of the season,” Ryan Taylor writes.

We’ve seen top youth team talents persuaded away from Chelsea almost every summer in in recent weeks, and Southampton have already started their campaign to buy him outright.

Thankfully, Chelsea tied the forward down to a long term contract last summer, so for them now it’s just a question of making sure he knows he will get plenty of chances to shine at Stamford Bridge.
