Chelsea closed the gap on league leaders Manchester City to ten points on Sunday, issuing a title reminder to Pep Guardiola’s side that they are just behind them.

Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva were both on the scoresheet in the second half for the Blues to give them all three points.

Both goals meant that Thomas Tuchel’s men beat London rivals Tottenham for the third time this month, twice in the Carabao Cup semi-finals and once in the Premier League.

Manchester City’s 1-1 draw against Southampton may have offered the slightest opportunity to Chelsea and Liverpool, who managed to get all three points against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Tuchel will now be gearing his side up to keep working down that gap in any way they can, with Jurgen Klopp aiming to do the same for his team.

All they can do is keep winning and hope that the Citizens drop points along the way.

With that said, here’s a look at the Blues’ next six fixtures compared to Liverpool and Manchester City.

Chelsea's next six fixtures

Crystal Palace (A) - February 19

Chelsea make the trip across London to face Crystal Palace, with Patrick Viera’s side currently struggling for form.

The former Arsenal captain has transformed the Eagles to be a competitive mid-table side, having already beaten Manchester City this season.

Burnley (A) - March 5

Sean Dyche’s men currently linger bottom of the table, though they are still involved in the battle against the drop.

The Clarets managed to take a point off of Chelsea back at Stamford Bridge and may provide a tough opponent to break down.

Newcastle (H) - March 12

Newcastle are another who are among the relegation candidates, though there is no guarantee as to what sort of side they could be when Chelsea face them.

The Magpies, after their takeover, have shown they can spend this transfer window and could be a much-improved side when they visit London in March.

Norwich (A) - March 19

The Blues face another relegation candidate in Norwich, though the Canaries have begun to hit some form. Dean Smith has guided his team to back-to-back victories and out of the relegation zone.

Brentford (H) - April 2

Newly promoted Brentford have competed well in their return to the top division, though have recently struggled for form. Thomas Frank’s men have only managed one win in their last five.

Southampton (A) - April 9

The Blues travel to Southampton, who have established themselves in mid-table. Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side have caused issues in their pressing style and did so against Manchester City, who they took a point from recently.
